Addiction takes an enormous toll on friends, loved ones and relationships so The Rehab Center Drug & Alcohol Treatment Center offers a program for family, friends and clients. Our Family Weekend program helps everyone move through the recovery process with more awareness, acceptance, insight and understanding.
Family Weekend 2016
Florida Addiction Treatment Center ’s Family Program is open to all loved ones. All clients, past and present, may participate in Family Weekend by signing up with their therapist. Alcoholism and addiction are family diseases. We are here to help start the process to repair and heal the whole family.
FAMILY WEEKEND SCHEDULE
FRIDAY(Optional but highly-recommended) To schedule an individual family therapy session directly with the client’s therapist call (561) 819-0620. Clients and families offsite between 4pm - 9pm
SATURDAYFAMILIES ONLY - First Half of the Day
- 8:30am: Breakfast
- 9am-10:15am: The Disease Model of Addiction
- 10:30 am-12:00pm: Family Roles, Enabling, Co-Dependency
FAMILIES & CLIENTS - Second Half of the Day
- 12:00pm-1:30pm: Lunch Clients and families offsite
- 1:45pm-2:45pm: Al-Anon Speaker
- 3pm-4pm: Process Group, Questions & Answers
- Clients and families offsite between 4pm - 9pm.
Mandatory 12-Step Meeting of Clients’ Choice
SUNDAYFAMILIES ONLY - First Half of the Day
- 8:30am: Breakfast
- 9am-10:15am: Continuing Care and TTC Alumni Dept.
- 10:30am-12:00pm: Questions and Answers, Closing
FAMILIES & CLIENTS - Second Half of the Day
- 12:00pm: Clients arrive at clinical building to spend the day with family offsite until 5pm.
