Lisa has a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. She also has extensive education, training, and experience in the field of substance abuse and addictions. She is a certified Parenting Instructor and a Batterers Intervention Facilitator with the state of Florida. Abrotsky has worked in the mental health/substance abuse field for the last 6 years. As a family therapist, she is able to integrate her knowledge of education and mental health issues to help families problem-solve, overcome personal issues, and work toward a better tomorrow.
Lisa utilizes an integrative, client-centered approach drawing from the world of depth psychology, motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, and solution-focused techniques to help clients obtain lifelong recovery.
